They may be located in the main building or an outhouse. There are two types of toilets: Western-style and squat. Places at higher altitudes tend to have more basic amenities. It’s a good idea to bring your toilet paper and soap, as well as hand sanitizer. Toilet paper is usually disposed of in a trash can next to the toilet (or a battered old metal can).
