My name is Dhan B, Gurung coming from the Manaslu region. I am a registered trekking guide at NMA and Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM). My Guide License is no 75 in the Nepalese Himalayas. After working several years as a porter-Cook-and-Sherpa, and becoming fluent in English and French languages, I became a guide in 1982. I have spent the past >25 years as professional trekking and climbing guide, working as a trekking Sirdar-Guide at Ganesh Himal Trekking and Yeti Mountaineering & Trekking.
During the last 25 years, I have become very familiar with many trekking destinations, including Everest, Makalu, Rolwaling, Dhaulagiri Upper Dolpo, Tilicho pass, Annapurna, and Langtang Regions, as well as Mustang, Dolpo, Kanchenjunga, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and Helambu and over 6,000 Meters Trekking peak climb.
From 2014 to 2017, I served on the Executive Committee and Central Secretariat of the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA).
Currently, I am the Co-Chair of Nepal Mountaineering School Repair Department – Advisory of Gurung Tourism Entrepreneurs and Mountaineering Department of Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal.

Trekking is in my blood because I was born into a family of trekkers. we are working in this field for decades. I’m a Responsible Guide full of knowledge. I have experience of trekking like Manasalu Trek, Kanchenjunga trek, Upper Dolpo and Lower Dolpo, Everest Base Camp trek Via Three passes, Round Makalu, Round Langtang, Annapurna circuit, Mustang trek, Tsum Valley Trek, Ganesh Himal Trek, and Tibet Kailash tour and Mera and Island peak climb working for more than 10 Years.
