Equipment list for Nepal Trekking & Climbing 

Please following the equipment list for Nepal trekking & climbing for Nepal Himalayan trek, you have to have suggested the equipment with you that, just might have your own personal first choice equipment which can equally as appropriate for you in the trek.


01+ Walking boots with suitable for ankle support that has been worn in prior to trekking, and with waterproof during the trek.

02* Trainer or casual Shoe trekking and traveling.

03* Warm socks for colder mountain areas.

04* Gaiters in case of the Snow or rain.


01* Loose casual trousers for trekking.

02* Thermal leggings for colder areas.

03* Long skirt for women’s as alternative trousers.

04* Waterproof trousers,


01* Selection of T-shirts, and long-sleeved shirts, preferably not the cotton.

02* Thermal Shirt for colder areas.

03 * Warm Shirt for colder areas.

04* Fleece Jacket or woolen jumper.

05* Windproof, waterproof outer shell garment for high altitude.

06* Down Jacket –Optional for cold Night and in the mornings, but you can be hired at Kathmandu.

Head & Hands,

01* Wool or fleece hat or balaclava.

02* Hat or cap for sun protection while during the trek.

03* Sunglasses or Goggles.

04* Warm gloves.

Other Necessary Items.

01* Strong rucksacks or large hold all to be carried by porters.

02* Day bag to carry personal things.

03* Plastic bag for inside your main bag.

04* One-liter water bottle.

05* Personal first aid kit.

06* Sleeping bag.

07* Torchlight or heat torch.

08* Digital Camera, spare battery charger, You will not forget brings it for taking the special Himalayan pos card.

09* Towel, Large handkerchief, bandana for the neck.

01* Books for reading, Altimeter, Compass, and a playing card.

For  Peak climbing.

01* Best is the plastic boots with crampon have been tested for a good fit.

02* Fleece trousers, additional mitts, Glove suitable for the mountain.

04* Desender, abseil device, Ascender, and Helmet, Jummar, Snow bar, Fix rope, Ice hammer, an ice screw,
