Khare to Mera Peak climbing

What you get from Mera Peak climbing from Khare, one of the best Himalayan viewpoints from Mera Peak summit (,6, 470 m), you will see five (8,000 meters) Himalayan peaks, such as Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Kanchenjunga. The peak is located in Hinku Valley, Solukhumbu region; it is technically easy to moderate and primarily involves snow and glacier travel.

Mera Peak climbing from Khare, you climb the glacier above the town. The route begins with a steep rocky section. After reaching the glacier edge, you put on crampons and rope up. The glacier is generally gentle but can have crevasses depending on the season. You continue toward the Mera La Pass, then trek to Mera High Camp (5,780m). Trekking from Mera La, follow the well-beaten glacier track trending southeast toward a long, rising snow slope. The terrain is mostly low-angle (20-25*)

Khare to High Camp: about 4-5 hours of walking. High camp site on a small rocky outcrop on the west ridge, offering safe tent platforms and great views of the mountains. Note that High Camp can be extremely cold and windy.

The cost for Khare to Mera Peak Climbing is 960 USD per person from March to May, including climbing equipment.

Flight and Land Transport Service Kathmandu to Lukla to Kathmandu: During the Mera Peak Expedition, you must take a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla to Kathmandu. But there is another option: you can hire a local Jeep from Kathmandu to Surke, but you need three extra days. If you travel by Jeep, the journey from Kathmandu to Khari Khola via Buspa Surke takes 19 hours.

We will serve in a high camp for Mera Peak Climbing. For the two days of the Mera Peak expedition, we will provide a tent and food in the high camp, a Climbing Guide from Khare to Khare.

You need Mera Peak climbing permits from the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) and Barun National Park for the Nepal Mera Peak climb. These permits are compulsory for the trekker.

Khare to Mera Peak climbing has good seasons

1, Autumn (September to November) is the best season, with clear skies and stable weather, and excellent visibility from the summit views. Moderate temperatures (cold at night, but manageable. Trails are dry and safe. Both mid-October and mid-November are usually considered prime time for Mera Peak.

Spring, March to May -Also the best season

2, Mid March to May is also a good time for Mera Peak climbing, stable climbing conditions, warmer temperatures than autumn, and beautiful blooming rhododendron forests on the approach, and less cold at night at high camp compared to autumn.

Winter (December-February
