My husband and I went on the Kanchenjunga trek. The company suggested the route and timing and then organised everything: airport pickup, hotel, internal flights, transport to the start of the trek, guide, ports, permit,…. Everything worked wonderfully! All the staff were extremely professional, helpful, and polite. We felt safe and supported throughout the trek. The choice of Kanchenjunga was perfect for us. It involved 20 actual walking days, a bit longer than many treks. This meant it was much less busy- many days we did not even see any other trekkers. This was my first trek ever, but the difficulty was totally manageable- the distances between the tea houses are ideal for a good but still enjoyable pace. The immersion into the local culture, the stunning views,s, and the perfect amount of daily exercise made this trip the experience of a lifetime.

Amazing experience with Prakash

An amazing experience with our super guide Prakash Magar.

Who far exceeded all our expectations, both in terms of Nepalese culture and trekking. He took care of us from A to Z. Being both prévenirant and anticipating our requests and needs. I can only warmly recommend him.

P.S another huge advantage, he knows everyone in the valley and thus was able to book hotel and assist so much

Mera Peak Trek and Climb

I highly recommend Nepal Alsace Trek and Expedition! Dhane was great in helping us develop a custom trekking package to meet our needs and acclimatize before climbing Mera Peak. When problems developed, he stepped up to take care of us. For example, because of bad weather, we could not fly to Lukla on schedule, but Dhane arranged for us to fly by helicopter the next day instead. Also, when one of our team members developed pulmonary edema after summiting the peak, he quickly arranged to have him (and the rest of our team) evacuated by helicopter. Our guide, Amrit, also was excellent. His friendly personality and knowledge of the mountains made our trekking and climbing experience great. He too was very flexible and able to adapt to our needs and changing conditions. In addition to trekking and climbing, Nepal Alsace arranged for an excellent city tour of Kathmandu and a visit to Chitwan National Park at a great price. If I ever return to Nepal again, Nepal Alsace is the first company I’ll contact.

Three Passes Trek

Highly recommended. The porter guide arranged by Dhan was excellent, helpful, informative, and encouraging. Very pleased with his support to have completed the challenging three-pass trek at 68 years old. Communication by Dhan was good, and not only did he meet me in Kathmandu before the trek but also again on my return to get my feedback.

Superb 9-day trek, with Dhane as guide!, a departure from Pokhara, Tadapani, towards Khopra ridge and its “community” lodge on the ridge; “magical” days of walking in forests of flowering rhododendrons, immense trees covered in red flowers, with mossy, mysterious trunks and branches…

Return via Ghorepani, and its unmissable excursion to Poon hill for the sunrise over Annapurna South, on the horizon the Daulagheri and the Machapuchare, descent, -2000 m during the day, towards Hulleri in the Bhurungdhi Khole gorges

I have just returned from a 14-day trek through Lower Dolpo with the NEPAL ALSACE TREK agency. It was an incredible experience to visit such a remote part of Nepal. I was accompanied by a guide named Amrit, who is the son of Dhane, the manager, and two porters. The team was extremely helpful and supportive, making my acclimatization to cross the two passes at 5200m much easier. I highly recommend this trek to anyone who wants to explore peaceful areas without the crowds of tourists.
