Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by a representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the day resting and preparing for the trek.

Day 2: Kathmandu

The hotel includes breakfast and a day spent resting and preparing for the Upper Dolpo trek. Permits.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Nepalgunj

Take a domestic flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj, a city in western Nepal near the border with India. The flight takes approximately 1 hour. Overnight stay in Nepalgunj.

Day 4: Nepalgunj to Juphal (2,475m) and Trek to Dunai (2,140m) 3 hrs.

Take an early morning flight from Nepalgunj to Juphal, a small airstrip in the Dolpo region. From Juphal, begin your trek to Dunai, the district headquarters of Dolpo. The trail goes through terraced fields, local villages, and beautiful forests. Overnight stay in the Dunai bazaar.

Day 5: Trek to Ankhe (2,660m) 5-6 hrs.

Start your trek from Dunai and follow the trail that runs along the Thulo Bheri River. Pass through a few small settlements and cross suspension bridges. The trail gradually ascends to Ankhe, a small village surrounded by lush greenery. Overnight stay in Ankhe.

Day 6: Trek to Sulighat (3,500m) 5-6 hrs.

Today, the trail takes you through dense forests of pine, fir, and juniper. You’ll cross the Sulighat Khola and ascend to the village of Sulighat. Enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes and spend the night in Sulighat.

Day 7: Trek to Phoksundo Lake (3,611m) 5-6 hrs

Continue trekking along the Phoksundo Khola and pass through a beautiful gorge. As you ascend, you’ll catch glimpses of the stunning Phoksundo Lake, the deepest lake in Nepal. Reach the lakeside village of Ringmo and spend the night near the mesmerizing Phoksundo Lake.

Day 8: Rest Day at Phoksundo Lake

Take a rest day to explore the enchanting Phoksundo Lake and its surroundings. You can hike around the lake, visit the nearby Tibetan Buddhist monastery, or simply relax and soak in the tranquil atmosphere.

Day 9: Trek to Phoksundo Khola (3,507m) 5 hrs.

Leave Phoksundo Lake behind and trek along the western bank of the lake. The trail leads you through a glacial valley and offers magnificent views of the snow-capped peaks. Reach Phoksundo Khola and set up camp for the night.

Day 10: Trek to Shey Gompa (4,350m) via Kang La Pass (5,360m), 6-7 hrs.

Start early in the morning to cross the challenging Kang La Pass. The pass offers panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks. Descend from the pass and reach Shey Gompa, an ancient and culturally significant monastery. Overnight stay in Shey Gompa.

Day 11: Trek to Saldang (3,770m) 5-6 hrs

From Shey Gompa, trek to Saldang, a traditional village known for its rich culture and ancient monasteries. The trail passes through picturesque landscapes and offers glimpses of the unique lifestyle of the local people. Overnight stay in Saldang.

Day 12: Saldang to Num Gaun (4360 Meters)

From Saldang to Num Gaun is not far away, about 4-5 hours, as you walk in a beautiful Gompa, an ancient monastery with a historical Overnight stay in Num Gaun

Day 13: Trek to Yangze Gompa (4,960m) 5-6 hrs.

As you leave Num Gaun, the trail gradually ascends to the village of Yangze. En route, you’ll pass through several small settlements and encounter traditional Tibetan-style houses. Explore Yangze Gompa, an ancient monastery with historical significance. Overnight stay near Yangze Gompa.

Day 14: Trek to Musi Gaun (4,170m) 5-6 hrs.

Continue your trek, climbing uphill through rocky terrain and barren landscapes. As you approach Musi Gaun, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Explore the traditional village and experience the unique culture of the local people. Overnight stay in Musi Gaun.

Day 15: Musi Gaun to Shim Gaung 5-6 hrs.

Shim Gaun is a (3,950 Meters) Tibetan-style village where people look like Tibetans. Stay overnight at Shim Gaun

Day 16: Shim Gaung to Tinje 6-7 hrs.

Tinje is (4150 Meters) a Traditional place known for its rich culture and historical significance. Stay overnight at Tinje.

Day 17: Tinje to Kyang Khola -6-7 hrs.

From Tinje to Kyang Khola trails will go down (4550 Meters). The place is near the riverside. Stay overnight at Kyang Khola.

Day 18: Trek to Chharka Bhote (4,180m) 6-7-hrs.

Today, you’ll trek to Charka Bhote, a picturesque village with a unique Tibetan cultural influence. The trail takes you through high passes, rugged terrains, and pristine landscapes. Enjoy the warm hospitality of the locals and explore the village. Overnight stay in Chharka Bhote.

Day 19: Chharka Bhote to Yak Kharka-5-6-hrs.

From Chharka Bhote, we walk to Yak Kharka (4,780 Meters). Stay overnight at Yak Kharka.

Day 20: Trek to Sangdala Base Camp (4,580m)-5-6 hrs.

Today’s trek takes you to the base camp of Sangdala Pass. The trail gradually ascends, and you’ll pass through alpine meadows and rugged terrains. Set up camp at the base camp and prepare for the pass crossing. Overnight stay at Sangdala Base Camp.

Day 21: Cross Sangdala Pass (5,260m) -7-8 hrs.

Start early in the morning for the challenging ascent to Sangdala Pass. The pass offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and landscapes. Descend from the pass. Stay overnight at Sangdala Village.

Day 22: Trek to Jomsom (2,720m) 4-5 hrs.

Start early in the morning to cross the Mendocino Pass, the highest point of the trek. From the pass, enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Descend from the pass and reach Jomsom. Overnight stay in Jomsom.

Day 23: Fly to Pokhara

Take a morning flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, a scenic 20-minute journey. Upon arrival in Pokhara, transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring the lakeside area or relaxing.

Day 24: Drive to Kathmandu-7-8-hrs.

Today, drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll have free time to explore the city, shop for souvenirs, or relax at your hotel.

Day 25: Kathmandu

Today is your free day in Kathmandu. If you want to visit Kathmandu, you can visit freely. The hotel includes breakfast Service.

Day 26: Departure from Kathmandu

It’s time to bid farewell to Nepal. You’ll be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
