Pharchamo peak climbing - 19 Nights 20 Days
Pharchamo peak climbing
Pharchamo peak climbing lies between Rolwaling and Khumbu valley. Peak climbing is a technically and difficult Trekking destination, where we need 400-meter ropes and all the mountaineering equipment, etc are needed for this peak.
Pharchamo peak climbing
Pharchamo Peak is a beautiful snow peak located south of Tashi Lapcha at an elevation of 6,279m. On the north side of Tashi Lapcha, this mountain has a ridge rising from the ice crevassed glacier. The ridge faces westwards and forms a uniform slope broken by crevasses and a series of buttresses rising above the Drolambau Glacier. Pharchamo is most easily reached via Rolwaling valley, although this route was closed since the 1980s due to possible dangers for porters crossing the Tashi Lapcha. As an alternative, only Namche Bazar and Thame on the Khumbu side are viable.
