From where we start our Trek: The trek begins in Lukla, a small town in the Solu Khumbu district of Nepal. Lukla is accessible by a short flight from Kathmandu, which is the capital city of Nepal.

Lukla to Tengboche Trek duration: The Lukla to Tengboche trek usually takes around 10-11- days, depending on your pace and acclimatization needs. It’s a moderate-level trek that doesn’t require technical climbing skills but does involve steep ascents and descents.

When is the Best time to go there: The best time to go Lukla to Tengboche is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons. These months offer relatively stable weather, clear skies, and favorable trekking conditions. Winter and monsoon seasons are generally avoided due to harsh weather and trail conditions.

Drinking water Lukla to Tengboche Trek: You can take boiled water from the lodge which costs 100 -400 Nepali rupees. It is better to use water purification drops and tablets which you can either bring from your country or can buy in Kathmandu.
