Italian Base Camp to Dhaulagiri Base Camp. The trail goes along a rough glacier and moraine section with rockfall, with danger. The trail is a Steep climb, with narrow paths, icy sections, and loose stones.
Dhaulagiri Base Camp to French Pass
It is a long climb to high altitude with snow or underfoot, often windy and freezing, with a challenging high Pass. 6-8 hours walking and very cold temperatures, but you have an unforgettable close view of Dhaulagiri 1-v and Tukche peak.
Dhampus Pass
The trail crosses another high-exposed pass, often with snow and strong winds, and a high altitude pass to the Hidden Valley. After Hidden Valley, you are nearly reaching Jomsom and Marpha, from where you can take a flight to Pokhara, or you can take a bus or hire a Jeep to Pokhara.
