Here is a practical and climber-friendly itinerary for Pherchamo Peak (6,187m) starting from Jagat and ending at Lukla, following the classic Rolwaling Valley → Tashi Lapcha Pass → Khumbu → Lukla route. This plan is suitable for trekkers with good fitness and prior high-altitude experience.

Day 1: Arrival day in Kathmandu.

Arrival at Kathmandu airport and a 45-minute drive to the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu (1,300m)

Trekking and climbing preparation day in Kathmandu hotel includes breakfast.

Day 3: Bus to Jagat (1,440m)

From Kathmandu, 8-9 hours by bus to Jagat. Overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 4: Jagat- Simigaun (2,000m)

Trek 5–6 hrs. The trail climbs steeply through villages and forest. Overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 5: Simigaun → Dhokang (2,800m)

Trek 6–7 hrs, enter Rolwaling Valley, beautiful forest walk. Overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 6: Dhokang→ Beding (3,690m)

Trek 5–6 hrs. Gradual ascent along the Rolwaling River. Overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 7: Beding → Na Village (4,180m)

Trek 3–4 hrs. Easy day with spectacular mountain views. Overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 8: Acclimatization in Na

Optional hike to the Gompa or to the ridge above the village. Overnight stay at the Lodge or Camp.

Day 9: Na → Tsho Rolpa Lake → Kabuk (4,560m)

Trek 5–6 hrs. The trail gets rocky and more remote. Overnight at Camping

Day 10: Tsho Rolpa → Drolambau Glacier

Trek 5–6 hrs. Glacier. 4-5 hours, Stay overnight at the Camping.

Day 11: Tashi Lapcha Base Camp (5,000m)

Trek to Base Camp Tashi Lapcha Base Camp, not a long way, but it is at a high altitude. overnight at Camping.

Day 12: Tashi Lapcha Base Camp → Tashi Lapcha Pass (5,755m) → High Camp

Long 7–8 hrs. Technical section with fixed ropes depending on conditions. Overnight at Camping.

Day 13: Summit Pherchamo Peak (6,187m) → Thengpo (4,370m) overnight

8–10 hrs. Start early (midnight to 2 AM). Climb snow slopes (35–45°), crevasses may be present. Descend to Thengpo in the Khumbu region.

Day 14: Extra day

If bad weather at Tashi Lapcha. Snow and avalanche risk are delaying the summit

Day 15: Thengpo → Thame (3,820m)

Trek 4–5 hrs. overnight at Lodge

Day 16: Thame → Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

Trek 4–5 hrs. Re-enter the busy Everest trail. overnight at the Lodge.

Day 17: Namche → Lukla (2,800m)

Trek 6–7 hrs. Final day of trekking. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 18: Lukla to Kathmandu.

From Lukla, fly to Kathmandu or Ramechhap overnight at the Kathmandu hotel.

Day 19: Kathmandu free day

Your safety day for international flight -overnight at hotel, B&B service.

Day 20: Departure

After breakfast, drive to the airport for your departure.

When are the Best Seasons for Pherchamo Peak

Autumn (Mid-September to November) — Best Season. Clear skies and stable weather.Good snow conditions on Pherchamo and Tashi Lapcha. Fewer chances of storms. Best visibility for summit day. Cold but predictable temperatures

Most recommended: Late September to late October. Spring (March to May) — Second Best Season. Longer daylight hours. Warming temperatures make climbing easier. Snow is more stable after winter. Glacier crevasses become more visible

Not Recommended Seasons Winter (December–February). Heavy snow on Tashi Lapcha Pass. Extreme cold on summit day. Higher avalanche risk. Most teams avoid winter climbs

Monsoon (June–August)

Landslides on the Rolwaling side (Simigaun–Beding). Poor visibility. Snowstorms near Tashi Lapcha.
