The Gokyo Ri Renjo La Pass trek is one of the scenic high-altitude treks in the Everest region, combining wonderful viewpoints, glacial lakes, and a high Mountain pass trek.
The Gokyo Renjola Pass trek begins from Lukla to Namche Bazaar. The trail ascends through beautiful Sherpa villages, like Khumjung, then the trail continues toward Dole, Machhermo, and the famous Gokyo valley, with lakes (4,790 m).
The Gokyo trek enjoys an acclimatization hike to Gokyo Ri (5,357 m), providing you with panoramic views of the world’s highest mountain, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho-Oyu from the Gokyo Ri.
The next day, from the Gokyo, we crossed Renjo La Pass (5,360 m), one of the highest trekking passes in the region, before descending to Lungdine (4,380 m), and onward to the historic Sherpa village in Thame (3820 m)
From Renjola, the trek returns to Namchae Bazaar (3,440 m), completing the high altitude circuit filled with dramatic landscapes, glaciers, and rich Sherpa cultures.
Day 01 Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu (1.300m)
On the Gokyo Ri Renjola Pass trek, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative outside the arrivals terminal after completing immigration and baggage procedures.
From the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel in a private vehicle. The airport usually takes 35-55 minutes, depending on traffic, and offers your first glimpse of Kathmandu’s lively streets: local markets and cultural atmosphere.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla or flight from Ramechhap to Lukla.

Day 03: Renjola pass trek | Phakding to Namche Bazaar

Day 04: Namche to Khumjung.
Your Breakfast in Namche, then trekking ascends slowly through pine and Rhododendron forests toward Syanboche, and the famous Everest View hotel. The climb provides beautiful panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and other mountains. Everest View Hotel, lacated high-3,880 m, is one of the highest luxury hotels in the Everest region trekking.
You enjoy the tea with a close mountain view, and the trek continues downhill to the amazing Sherpa village of Khumjun (3790 m). This village is known for its green-roof houses, the historical Khumjung Manastery, and the Hillary School founded by Sir Edmund Hillary. This route follows the important acclimatization principle of high, sleep low, helping fr clientss abjust th the altitude while enjoying spectacular scenery, and Sherpa culture with a lifestyle.

Day 05: Khumjung to Dhole.
From Khumjung to Dhole, the trail climbs slowly toward Mong La Danda (3,975 m), providing beautiful mountain views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam, Cho-Oyu, Tawche, and Khumbila. From the Mong La trail descend through the pine and Rhododendron forest to Photse Thanga (3,680 m), where you can stop for your Lunch beside the Dudh Koshi River.
After your Lunch, the trek continues with a steady uphill climb through the wonderful forests and Alpine landscapes to reach Dhole (4,200 m), where you enjoy panoramic views of Khumbila, Tawache, and Ch-Oyu. Dhole is a peaceful Sherpa settlement and an important acclimatization point to stop before going to Gokyo Valley.

Day 6: Gokyo Valley trek Dole to Machhermo
Gokyo Lake trek | from Dhole trek continue throgh the upper Gokyo Valley with gradual ascents, and beautiful views of Cho-Oyu, Tawache, Thamserku, and other mountain peaks. From here, the trail passes through Alpine landscapes, a small Sherpa settlement with yak grazing pastures, before reaching Machhaermo. From Dole to Machhermo, a short and easy walking day allows for proper acclimatization while enjoying the with beutiful Himalyan scenery at Machhermo.
Duration: 4 hours from Namche Bazaar.

Day 07: Machhermo to Gokyo Lake.
Gokyo Valley trekking | Your breakfast in the Machhermo, follow the beautiful scenic Himalyan trail along the Gokyo valley. The trekking route slowly ascends past Alpine meadows and Yak pastures before reaching the second Gokyo Lakes. Trek continues alongside the turquoise glacial lakes with beautiful views of Cho-Oyu, and the surrounding snow Mountain peaks. Arrival at the beautiful Gokyo Lake village situated beside the third largest lake in the Gokyo Valley, Night at Gokyo.
Duration: 3-5 hours from Machhermo.
Altitudes: (4,790m). Gokyo Lake.

Day 08: Hike to Gokyo Ri and rest at Gokyo.
From Gokyo, an early-morning hike up to Gokyo Ri, the famous viewpoint of the Everest trek. From Gokyo, climb steeply but rewarding, providing beautiful views of Mount Everest, Cho-Oyu, Makalu, Lhotse, and turquoise Lake Gokyo below. Have an enjoyable sunrise view, then take photographs from the top, then descend back to Gokyo Loade for breakfast.
The remainder of the day is reserved for rest and acclimatization. You can relax by the lakeside, explore the surrounding area, or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the wonderful Gokyu Lake & Valley.

Day 09: From Gkyo -Renjola pass and Lungdin.
Early breakfast in the morning, then the trek begin challinging high crossing of Renjola Pass. This is a famous high pass of the Khumbu trek. The trek trail climbs steadily above Gokyo Lake to reach Renjola, where clients are rewarded with beautiful views of Mount Everest, Cho-Oyu, Makalu, Lhotse, and the entire Gokyo Lake system. After enjoying the spectacular scenery & taking photographs, descend along a rugged trail into the remote valley. The route passes through beautiful Alpine landscapes. before reaching the small Sherpa settlement of Lungndin.

Day 10: Lungdin to Thame
Morning 7, 30 Breakfast, and descend slowly through the beautiful Khumbu & Tashi Lapcha part valley, following an ancient trading route used by Tibetan merchants. The trail passes through a traditional Sherpa village, and yaks’ pastures, and scenic Himalayan Landscapes with views of surrounding peaks. Along the trail, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this less-traveled part of the Khumbu everest region before reaching the historical mountaineer Sherpa Village of Thame. Known for the monastery and mountaineering heritage.

Day 11: Thame to Namche Bazaar.
The Thame to Namche trail descends slowly along the Bhote Koshi river valley, passing through the small Sherpa village of Thamo and Phurte. The trekking route follows a scenic path with views of Konde Ri, Thamserku, and Kusum Kangaru. You may also pass prayer wheels, mani walls, and monasteries that reflect the deep Budhhist culture of the Khumbu Everest region.
As you approach Namche Bazaar, the trail becomes busier and is the main Everest region trekking and expedition route. The final section includes a steady climb back up to Namche Bazaar, the vibrant Sherpa capital, the main trading hub of the Everest region trekking and expedition.

Day 12: Namche to Lukla
