From Kathmandu, your trip starts early in the morning with a public bus from Kathmandu to Dhunche; this is the gateway to the Gosaikunda trek. The bus departs from Machhapokhari Bus Park and follows the scenic road to Pasang Lhamu Highway through the Gulchhi-Deveghat and Trisuli Bazaar, and Betrawati-Kalikathan before going to Dhunche.
From Kathmandu to Dhunche, approximately six to eight hours, but it depends on the road and traffic conditions. Along the way, enjoy wonderful views of terraced hillsides, the Trisuli River, traditional villages, and lush green forests. Uopen arrival in Dhunche, check into a local teahouse lodge, explore Dhunche town, and prepare for the trek to Sing Gompa for the next day.

Day 2: Dhunche to Sing Gompa Red Panda Lodge.
After breakfast at Dhunche, your trek begins from here, following a well-marked trail through Langtang Naitional Park. The Path climbs steadily throgh the wonderful forests of rhododendron, oak and pine. Along the trail, you may spot wildlife such as Langur monkeys, colorful birds, and, if you are lucky, the chance to see a red panda before reaching Dimsa.
After passing Dimsa, the trek continues uphill to Sing Gompa (Chandanbari, 3,330 m). This is a peaceful village home to an ancient Buddhist monastery and a local yak cheese factory, where you can taste fresh Himalyan cheese. You can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding hills and snow-capped mountains before spending the night at a comfortable Teahouse Lodge at Sing Gompa, Chandan Bari Red Panda Lodge.
